Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Not at this time, however, as a small business owner, I am happy to work with you on payment options, timelines, and plans that fit your needs. Payment is accepted in the form of wire transfer, cash, ACH, or credit card. Product is not able to be delivered without payment in FULL.
We require deposits to ensure our time, efforts, and materials are fairly compensated. Once you select a diamond, we ask for a 50% deposit within 24-48 hours. This will secure your diamond and we will begin production on your ring! Payment is accepted in the form of wire transfer, cash, ACH, or credit card.
When do I need to have my diamond selected for an engagement ring?
We recommend finalizing your diamond selection 2-4 weeks before you want your ring completed in-hand. This ensures you see the most up to date and accurate options available and leaves enough time for production, which takes 1-2 weeks. If you have a tighter deadline, we will do our best to accommodate you.
What’s the turn-around time for custom work?
Depending on our other projects and the complexity of yours, the typical turn-around time for a Megan Piccione special order is approximately 1-2 weeks. This only changes if you are ordering a custom piece by a designer, in which case, you can expect 5-7 weeks.
Can you help with jewelry appraisals and insurance?
Yes! Part of the MPJ experience is all-encompassing concierge where we take care of everything for you. We have an in-house gemologist who handles all appraisals, and we partner with Jewelers’ Mutual Insurance for clients to have coverage for their goods. There is no charge for these services, as long as your pieces have been purchased through MPJ. Please contact us if you need more information or to be put in contact with the right people.
I am out-of-town. Can we still work together on a project?
Megan Piccione Jewelry has clients all over the world, and we are comfortable in working with you remotely. It’s the same process working remotely as it is in-person, the only difference being you view your diamond selection via HD photos, videos, and ZOOM chats.
Are your diamonds and/or gemstones ethically sourced?
We work with diamond suppliers who are compliant with the Kimberley Process and only provide conflict-free diamonds. Learn more about the Kimberley Process at WWW.KIMBERLEYPROCESS.COM.
Why do you require deposits?
We require deposits to ensure our time, efforts, and materials are fairly compensated. Once you select a diamond, we ask for a 50% deposit within 24-48 hours. This will secure your diamond and we will begin production on your ring!
Can you ship my order?
Your orders always come with fully insured shipping and require signature upon delivery. All packages are shipped using Overnight Delivery, free of charge. We cannot guarantee delivery dates and are not responsible for any shipping delays that may occur. We recommend choosing a delivery date that allows for at least a three (3) day buffer from when you need your package in hand.
Do you buy or trade-in old jewelry?
Sometimes. We are happy to make a trade or a credit toward another purchase, but we do not outright buy your goods. This is because we have to ensure that your items come from conflict-free situations.
How often should I get my jewelry inspected?
We recommend every 6 months to have our master jeweler do a full, comprehensive inspection. This includes a cleaning, and both are complimentary to you.
How do I make sure I order the right size? What if something does not fit correctly?
If you are unsure about your finger size, please contact us and we will send you a complimentary sizer prior to production. If after delivery, your ring does not fit, we will do everything we can to remedy the situation. If it is too loose, we will happily resize it at no charge. If it is too tight, we will determine how much bigger it needs to be to accurately quote you. This is because your ring will require more material, and this needs to be paid for. There is no charge for this service, only the materials. Please note: eternity bands are not sizable.
I have stones that I would like to use in my custom piece. Can you work with my materials to make something?
We love to work with your heirloom stones that are from family jewelry. We will do very detailed inspections before we work with your heirlooms to guarantee that they can withstand rework without incident.
We will NOT work with diamonds or colored stones that you purchased elsewhere. This is a liability issue.
